Day 30: Grateful

The roar of the distant streets was like an ocean man-made
A little too conceivable to quickly fade
The two pieces of a puzzle don’t fit
But is it a reason good enough to quit

The deserts freeze and the rivers crack
Feets apart we’re still a wolf pack
There on your shore reflections are perpetual waves
Solution is just a dawn that will inevitably break

Future becomes reality
And grows up too quick to become the past
The wheel is the insanity
That spins endlessly and was meant to last

Who’d thought I’d show my gratitude to a cage
But it keeps me from killing and keeps you from being killed
This strange zoo will soon alter the age
Because rebuilding is a task of will sought by the sturdy and skilled

  1. Who’d thought I’d show my gratitude to a cage
But it keeps me from killing and keeps you from being killed
This strange zoo will soon alter the age
Because rebuilding is a task of will sought by the sturdy and skilled

Exactly and beautiful put — it’s going to be interesting to watch and participate in.
