Happy Diwali!

This is that time of the year, when it shouldn’t rain in India but it is raining.

This is that time of the year, when we will eat too many sweets and think of a diet only a morning after.

This is that time of the year, when  while putting on lights we’ll  get to know that most of them don’t work!

This is that time of the year, when you will have to redo your Rangoli a several dozen times because of the stomping kids and the staggering adults.

This is that time of the year, when dry fruits and fresh flowers will just keep getting more expensive and you will realize how precious Kaju Barfi is.

This is that time of the year, when your cleaning was enough to supplement a whole year’s trouble, but wait, you still did forget something, didn’t you?

This is that time of the year, when Diwali is on a Sunday and you wish if only it could have been on a Monday.

But above all this is that time of the year, when all of us dress pretty after weeks of hard work, enjoy our time with our family and friends, reunite after long spells, eat and have fun to our contention and it dawns upon us how important Diwali is and that’s why we say it over and over again with joy,
                  A Very Happy Diwali!
