Shipwreck In The Sky

Flying over the no time zone
Floating over altitudes high
Swarmed by the endless clouds
I see the shipwrecks in the sky

The captains swim in the moondust of this night
While the wreck slowly drowns in the watery light
Air borne aeons ago has set them afloat
On the shores of silver somewhere far away and quite alone

Here the exceptions are the only rules
And not everyone who’s good is declared a fool
Here the winds are young and understood
And a droplet encompasses more than an ocean ever could
